Terms of Service
Last updated: 28 July 2026
These terms govern your organisation's ("Customer") use of RedactNode's Tanda Guard extension, Tanda Proxy gateway, and Safe Zone Portal (together, the "Service"). By deploying or using the Service, Customer agrees to these terms.
1. The Service
RedactNode provides a privacy proxy that masks configured categories of personal data before prompts reach a third-party AI provider, and restores that data in the AI's response before it reaches the end user. Customer selects and is responsible for its own agreement with any third-party AI provider connected to the Service.
2. Accounts and access
Customer's administrator is responsible for provisioning and revoking access for its own employees, keeping login credentials confidential, and configuring which PII categories the Service masks. RedactNode is not responsible for data exposed due to misconfigured masking rules, disabled protections, or shared/compromised credentials.
3. Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to circumvent, disable, or reverse-engineer the masking engine.
- Do not use the Service to process data categories outside what your plan and configuration support.
- Do not exceed documented rate limits in a way that degrades the Service for others.
4. Service levels and availability
Uptime and support commitments depend on Customer's plan (see Pricing). Starter and Pro plans are provided without a formal SLA; Enterprise plans include the SLA specified in the applicable order form.
5. Fees and plans
Fees are billed according to Customer's selected plan. Prices and included usage may change with notice before the next billing cycle; changes do not apply retroactively.
6. Limitation of liability
The Service reduces the risk of regulated data reaching third-party AI providers but does not guarantee detection of every possible PII pattern, particularly data outside the categories Customer has configured. RedactNode is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, to the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law.
7. Termination
Either party may terminate for convenience with 30 days' written notice, or immediately for material breach that remains uncured after 14 days' notice. Customer may export its audit log data for 30 days following termination.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.
